Bodies Under Sanction - Withdrawal

Section 15 (4) of the Kenya accreditation Service Act, 2019 provides for Withdrawal of an Accredited Conformity Assessment Bodies. Withdrawal can be voluntary where an accredited body requests the Service to completely stop accreditation services for various reasons or Mandatory where non-conformities related to technical aspects accreditation requirements and the relevant standard are not closed out in a given timeframe (technical withdrawal) or non-payment of prescribed accreditation fees (Financial) both of which are effecter after being on suspension for six months.
