Certification services are an important aspect of conformity assessment, which applies to sustainability businesses. These are used to demonstrate compliance with international standards for safety such as quality management systems (ISO 9001), and environmental management systems (ISO 14001).

KENAS also has an accreditation scheme for greenhouse gas validation and verification bodies – ISO/IEC 17029 and ISO 14065. these can be used to satisfy regulatory requirements and verify the reduction or removal of greenhouse gases in business operations.
